Cancellation Policy

Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Booking Your place on the workshop is confirmed once payment has been received in full. Places are limited, so early booking is recommended. Your right to cancel (cooling-off period) Under UK consumer law, you normally have 14 days from booking to cancel for a full refund. Because this workshop takes place on a fixed date, by completing your booking you agree that: if your session falls within that 14-day period, you'd like the workshop confirmed for that date, and once you've attended (or the session has taken place), your right to a cooling-off refund no longer applies. If you cancel before the session takes place and within 14 days of booking, you're entitled to a full refund under this right — this sits separately from the goodwill credit terms below, which apply once the 14-day period has passed. Cancellations & rescheduling (outside the 14-day cooling-off period) We ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your place. 48 hours' notice or more: your booking fee is non-refundable, but as a goodwill gesture, we'll credit the amount paid toward any other Understudy service or future workshop, valid for 12 months from your original booking date. Less than 48 hours' notice, or non-attendance: your booking fee is non-refundable and no credit will be issued, as we're unable to reallocate your place at short notice. Cancellation by The Understudy If we need to cancel or postpone a session, you'll be offered a full refund or a place on the next available cohort — whichever you prefer.
